Workshop Objective

With financing for 4G network developments in the current climate at a premium, developing a successful business case is more important than ever. An operator not only must understand the multitude of technical and financial parameters that go into building a complete business case, but they must also understand the confusing technology options in today’s emerging 4G market. This workshop will look at the key success factors for building a winning business case, and understanding what it takes to get networks financed. We will also look at understanding the emerging technologies for HSPA+, WiMAX™, LTE-FDD, and LTE-TDD. We will look at case studies for comparing the technologies in a single deployment. We will also look at transitional business cases to help understand the optimal time for operators to transition from 3G to 4G.

The emphasis of this hands-on business planning workshop will be the go-to-market services and pricing strategies for business and consumer markets. Wireless 20/20 will leverage its WiROI™ Business Case Analysis Tool to present informative and engaging case studies of 4G network initiatives and demonstrate the key success factors in developing winning business cases. Attendees will have the opportunity to develop their own business case during this hands-on workshop.
